Our Lodge

Cervantes Lodge No. 5 is a regular Masonic Lodge chartered under the Grand Lodge of the State of Louisiana, F∴ & A∴M∴ Since the mid-nineteenth century, the Lodge has served as a home for Spanish-speaking Freemasons while remaining fully integrated within the wider Masonic life of the state.

Although the Lodge today welcomes Masons of diverse backgrounds, it continues to preserve the cultural and linguistic traditions upon which it was founded, reflecting the belief that Freemasonry is universal in its principles yet enriched by the languages and customs of its members.

Our Work

The Lodge works in the Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craft, and Master Mason Degrees of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. Our meetings combine ritual work, fellowship, and education, conducted with respect for tradition, decorum, and the moral teachings of the Craft.
